Color Studies
For the color studies project, I used a picture of a plant as my reference photo. I learned how to use the brushes in photoshop to paint my reference photo using
Monochrome, Complementary, Split Complementary, and Tetrad colors.
First, I used Adobe Color to find the colors I would be using from the color wheel. I then created swatches in photoshop to use while painting.
After I made all my swatches I painted over the plant reference photo.
For my monochrome painting I used all different shades of green.
For my complementary painting I used shades of blue and orange.
For my split complementary painting I used shades of orange, blue, and green.
For my tetrad painting I used shades of yellow, purple/pink, and blue.
